Masked Kitty (For Fun Challenge)

When I saw that the challenge for this week would be a masked card my thought was "a what?" Then I looked at the information file and thought "sounds like fun!"

I started with the Squigglefly image of the mouse sitting on the park bench with the bird. I masked it and added the (also Squigglefly) image of the kitty. Finally I used a circle mask and added the KPink background image. All images were colored with Copic Markers. Strange not to be adding brads, pearls, ribbon or Dazzles. I do like the way it came out and plan to use this technique again. Not every card or maybe not even every week. Some challenges or cards will just lend themselves to using a mask.  I wouldn't have tried this on my own so I am glad that the challenge required it. We can often do more, learn something new and experiment outside our comfort zones if we just try it.

This is the cutest card Mary! I love the way you have given it depth by masking a circle and stamping all around with the various flower colors.
