My Time to Craft Challenge (MTCC). The challenge for the week was to use swirls and stars. I have a base of pale yellow cardstock from Recollections. The stars and the flourish I cut from gold metallic vinyl on the Cricut Expression using the Accent Essentials cartridge. Amazing, I don't have a digi stamp on here. How did that happen? I do have a tea bag folded flower made from Me & My Big Ideas polka dotted paper. It is secured with a blue/silver sparkly brad.
Designed 2 Delight over the weekend. Apparently the first digi for the month is a freebie that you pick up at the site. Then if you get an entry in using that digi before the deadline, the next digi is emailed to you. Enter that one on time and you get the 3rd... The watering can is the first one for May. There are only a couple of days left to enter. I used this gorgeous flowery paper from Me & My Big Ideas. A few silver Dazzle accents. Of course the digis are colored with Copic markers.
Isabella's Challenge. The flowers are an Isabella's Sketchbook digi stamp. The thin lines and swirls didn't lend itself to being trimmed out and the white paper seemed to complement the colors. I decided to keep it white. There is a short piece of multi-colored striped ribbon from Michael's and Gold Dazzles from HOTP to add some sparkle. The lettering is from EKSuccess.
It is rare that I am this happy with three consecutive cards. Check out some of these new (at least to me) challenges.
