Phindy's Challenge this week is to use squares (or make a square card) and faux or real stitching. I'm in the city this weekend and my little sewing machine is at the lake. I tried stitching by hand, but the colors/pattern didn't work. Instead I chose a ribbon that had stitching on both edges.
I chose a checkered background and the image and its matting are close to square.
This card is for my great-nephew who will be 2 in early May.
